Every project starts with an initial meeting not only to discuss what exactly you want from your garden but also to see whether we have the right fit to work together. If we have and you are happy with my fee proposal we get started!

WHAT IS THE COST FOR A FULL DESIGN SERVICE?

  • The cost to build your garden depends on many factors including size, complexity (are there many levels, challenging existing features etc) and your requirements and desires.

  • Design fees are a portion of the total cost of a project. For full design service it will be between 10 and 15% of the overall project budget. For a small garden design fees will start around £2000

TYPICALLY THESE STEPS WILL BE REQUIRED TO CREATE YOUR DREAM GARDEN:

  1. A survey will provide us with your garden’s existing details I will need to start

  2. The exciting bit starts for me and I create one or sometimes multiple concept drawings

  3. We meet and go through the concept drawings and I amend where required

  4. I create more detailed drawings and specifications to enable landscapers to provide accurate quotes for building your garden

  5. I monitor the build of your garden and ensure inevitable questions and changes can be made

  6. The planting is the final bit. I will create planting plans, order plants and arrange planting; with you if you would like!!

  7. Aftercare, this is key especially when plants have recently planted. I can create maintenance plans and help you find a gardener if you require
